FROM THE ADMINISTRATOR
Hi Everyone,
Congratulations to the new board of officers who were elected for the next year. You can find their names on page 2 of this bulletin. Also, a special thanks to the outgoing board of officers who did a great job.
Please, when you receive your dues notifications, send your money in as soon as possible. If you happen to lose the notice that was sent, you can still pay your dues by writing your check and include your expiration date and member ID number and send to the following address:
Dues Processing Center
Moose International
P.O. Box 88065
Chicago, IL 60680-1065
The new membership campaign will be announced at the international convention later this year. In the mean time, continue signing members as they will count toward the membership program.
Until next month,
Jim Jamieson
Administrator

Well, I am back again as your governor!! I will repeat my belief that this is one of the best lodges in the state. We have members who will help when they can no matter what we ask of them. I hope everyone will support our new year as you have helped me in the past.
We got off to a great start with the cleaning party – everyone that came out did a great job.
If it was not for all of the volunteers that come forward in this lodge, we would never have Friday night dinners or any other meal. So let’s take the time to thank these people as they work their functions. The shoppers also have to go and take the time to buy all the good things that we serve. Hats off to all of you!!
Governor

FROM THE SENIOR REGENT’S DESK
Hello,
I look forward to working with the new board of officers, chairpersons, and the membership in the coming year. Also, I plan to meet with the men to discuss our goals and to establish a good communication link so that we can have a very special year together at our lodge. Remember, respect, cooperation, unity and volunteering are the keys to our success.
In June, I will be attending the Moose International Convention in Las Vegas and I am sure there will be a lot of new information to share upon my return. The new 2008-2009 Membership Campaign Theme will also be revealed at that time.
In May, the lodge will be offering a special Mother’s Day Breakfast and Memorial Day BBQ. Please come on down and support our lodge.
Finally, there are positions still open for chairs. If you have some spare time and would like to support your W.O.T.M. please consider volunteering.
Paula Shimizu
Senior Regent

LOOM / WOTM Needs Your Help !!!
The Message is Membership Membership !!!
“It’s a New Year! Both the LOOM and WOTM need new members in order to make lodge and chapter honors for 2008/2009. Now is the time to sign-up and enroll that new member. You already know about our fraternity and the good we do for Mooseheart and Moosehaven.
Your help is needed to bring in new members. Be sure to explain to a potential member all the benefits they can enjoy as a Moose member. As a member they can save money at motels/hotels across the nation, car rentals, car insurance, Sherwin-Williams paint, drug prescriptions and many other benefits. In fact, most of these benefits would save more money than you would pay for your yearly membership card. So sign-up that new member and make 620 and 1117 proud”.

Karaoke Night

I was recently asked if we still had Karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Unless a special event is scheduled, the answer is YES and NO !!!
Interest in Karaoke has declined in recent months so our officers have decided to offer Karaoke on a "on request" basis. Once the lodge finds that there is more participation, Karaoke will be offered on a regular basis. So if you decide that you would like to request a Karaoke evening please notify one of the lodge officers so that someone will be available to handle your request.
